Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera OG Cage - 3D file

I'm sure you're here because you're looking for a solution to protecting your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera Original Camera (BMPCC OG).

The Contineo cage is by far the most sought after cage released for the BMPCC OG and they are difficult to find. The problem is if you do find one, it's overpriced or unavailable within your area. That's why I've made this file available, you can use it to 3D print one and there are several sites that will print it for you if you don't have a printer yourself.

Though there are some sites where you can find the file for free, the design is not what I would feel comfortable putting on my camera. Also, searching for a used Contineo cage was almost impossible.

Here is where this file can give a bit of a compromise, most people will opt to have this 3D printed, some companies will have it done for less than $80.

One thing to keep in mind when printing this out is durability. You have to consider what you'll be adding as accessories, though optional, one thing to add are brass inserts, this will strengthen and add rigidity to whatever you rig to the cage.

You get a STEP file which can be used or converted to whatever file type you desire.
